General information

When sleeping in a hammock, a classic sleeping bag gets compressed underneath you, which significantly reduces its insulation properties and can leave you cold on your backside overnight. In warmer months, this issue can be solved by placing a sleeping pad or other insulation mat directly in the hammock or sleeping bag. When the sleeping pad is no longer sufficient or bothers you in the hammock, the OTUL Lite Primaloft Silver Underquilt comes to the rescue.

The OTUL Lite Primaloft Silver hammock insulation is a lighter version of the popular OTUL underquilt and just like it, surrounds the hammock from below and from the sides, creating a pocket of warm air around it so you can enjoy comfortable sleep even in cooler or windy weather.

The OTUL Lite Primaloft Silver Underquilt is made from high-quality materials. The fabric from which the underquilt is sewn is a lightweight, durable, and quick-drying polyamide fabric in ripstop weave with DWR protection. This fabric is also used in manufacturing clothing and sleeping bags for Polish special forces units GROM and FORMOZA. Perfect insulation is provided by synthetic Primaloft Silver 80 g/m² insulation. This material is not only lightweight, durable, and elastic, but also hydrophobic, so it doesn’t absorb moisture.

OTUL Lite has its own suspension system, complemented by UNGAPER – a smart solution for lifting the underquilt by about 10 cm. The system allows elastic cords to be fastened around the hammock, thanks to which OTUL Lite better wraps around your body and better seals all gaps between the insulation and the hammock.

Even when using “hi-tech” materials, OTUL Lite maintains a conservative appearance and is very easy to use. Attaching it to the hammock requires no special knowledge or additional equipment.
