General information

When sleeping in a hammock, a traditional sleeping bag compresses underneath you, significantly reducing its insulation and leaving you with a cold backside. In warmer months, this can be solved by placing a foam mat or other insulation pad directly in the hammock or sleeping bag. When a mat is no longer enough or gets in the way, the OTUL Lite Primaloft Silver Underquilt comes into play.

The OTUL Lite Primaloft Silver hammock insulation is a lighter version of the popular OTUL underquilt. Just like the original, it surrounds the hammock from below and the sides, creating a pocket of warm air so you can enjoy a comfortable sleep even in cooler or windy weather.

The OTUL Lite Primaloft Silver Underquilt is made from high-quality materials. The fabric is a lightweight, durable, and quick-drying ripstop polyamide with a DWR finish. This material is also used in clothing and sleeping bags for Polish special forces units like GROM or FORMOZA. Perfect insulation is provided by Primaloft Silver 80 g/m² synthetic fill. This material is not only light, durable, and elastic, but also hydrophobic, so it doesn’t absorb moisture.

The OTUL Lite features its own suspension system, complemented by the UNGAPER—a clever solution for lifting the underquilt by about 10 cm. The system allows elastic cords to be fastened around the hammock, ensuring the OTUL Lite hugs your body better and seals all gaps between the insulation and the hammock.

Even with “hi-tech” materials, the OTUL Lite maintains a classic look and is very easy to use. Attaching it to a hammock requires no special knowledge or additional equipment.
