General information

The 3 x 3 PRO Multicam tarp is based on the popular DD Hammocks 3 x 3 tarp. This upgraded version was created based on field testing and offers almost unlimited hanging options thanks to a greater number of eyelets, loops, and buckles. The tarp can be used as a roof over a hammock, a bivouac shelter, or even a lightweight tent. The 3 x 3 PRO tarp also allows for connecting multiple tarps.

Loops for Guy Lines

Several corner, center, and side loops have Velcro, which allows for rolling up and storing the anchor cords when packing. This design is very practical because the anchor cords don’t tangle between uses while remaining attached to the tarp for quick setup.

Unrivaled Adaptability

Thanks to 21 reinforced attachment points across the entire tarp, the setup options are nearly endless. For example, you can create a ridge in both directions. You can easily create an enclosed tent or join multiple tarps together to form a group shelter. 16 metal eyelets around the edges of the tarp allow for use with trekking poles, tent poles, or sticks and are suitable for anchoring to the ground using pegs. Plastic buckles are placed on two sides of the tarp, allowing you to connect multiple tarps together (up to 4 tarps in a large 6 x 6 m square). The buckles also allow for advanced tarp configurations in combination with a hammock – for example, closing one end.

About the Brand

The founder of DD Hammocks is Scottish traveler Nick Vansittart. This passionate traveler undertook, for example, a trip around the world covering 26,000 km. Nick needed an ultralight and maximally functional sleeping solution for his travels, so after returning from one expedition, he introduced the first hammock to the market. With the Camping model in 2006, he launched the production and development of hammocks and accessories known for their quality and innovative features.
