DD Travel Hammock / Bivi Olive Green from DD Hammocks is an outdoor hammock with double bottom and a tightly woven mosquito net that can keep out even the smallest Scottish Midge flies. Compared to the similar DD Frontline model, the outer layer is waterproof. The size of the hammock is 270 x 140 cm.

Two-layer construction

One of the main characteristics of the DD Travel Hammock / Bivi Olive Green is its two-layer construction. It is possible to insert a camping pad between the hammock layers. It will then stay in one place all night and not shift under you. The double-layer construction also protects you better from stinging insects.

Mosquito net

The mosquito net of the DD Travel / Bivi hammock can be closed on both sides with a zipper with two sliders. It’s tightly woven and will protect you even from the smallest insects. In addition, it increases thermal comfort and provides partial protection against the sun.

Hammock DD Travel / Bivi as a tent

The hammock is equipped with four loops on its sides, that allow you to attach it to the ground and set it up like a tent. As the outer layer of the hammock is waterproof, there is no need to carry additional waterproof insulation. It is a good idea to pack a tarp as protection against rain.

Practical functions

Inside the hammock there are four handy pockets for storing smaller gear like phone or wallet. After removing the spreader bars, the hammock can be turned upside down to let you fully enjoy the view of the sky or treetops.
