The GLOW -12C underquilt is an excellent companion that allows you to sleep comfortably on colder nights both in a hammock and on the ground. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, you can use the underquilt not only under a hammock but also as a sleeping bag/top cover. Simply attach it to your sleeping pad with the provided expanders to prevent it from shifting during the night.

Quality materials

The underquilt’s surface is made of ultra-light nylon (22 g/m2) with a ripstop weave and DWR (Durable Water Repellency) surface treatment. The fabric is tear-resistant and breathable. It’s also dense enough to prevent down feathers from escaping the quilt even after long-term use.

Simply attach it to your sleeping pad with the provided expanders to prevent it from shifting during the night.

Quality materials

The underquilt’s surface is made of ultra-light nylon (22 g/m2) with a ripstop weave and DWR (Durable Water Repellency) surface treatment. The fabric is tear-resistant and breathable. It’s also dense enough to prevent down feathers from escaping the quilt even after long-term use.
The DWR treatment protects the quilt from absorbing water that condenses on the underquilt’s surface and runs off. One side is dark green to blend with the natural environment. The other side is bright orange to signal our position.

Top insulation

The underquilt contains 550 g of pure goose down with a fill power of 750 CUIN. The down we use is also recycled! The down filling is obtained from products whose operational standards indicate the need for replacement. Before we reuse it, the raw material undergoes a deep cleaning process using special biodegradable detergents. After the down is sterilized, it undergoes careful selection to meet the 750 Cuin standard. Thanks to this process, we can offer perfectly cleaned down of exceptionally high quality. Recycled down thus conserves raw materials and reduces environmental impact.

Thoughtful cut

The special design of the underquilt maximizes the properties of down. The H-shaped chamber design prevents the formation of so-called cold seams left without insulation.
This solution significantly improves the insulation parameters of the product. The part designed to protect the upper body is 140 cm wide and consists of pillow-shaped chambers. This eliminates the movement of down to the lower parts of the underquilt. As a result, the head and torso are very well protected from the cold. In the foot area, the quilt is narrower and uses a special longitudinal type of chamber, which optimally utilizes the down in this area and keeps the feet perfectly warm. When used with a hammock, the down moves from the compressed end to the parts where the feet are placed. However, when the underquilt is used as a blanket/sleeping bag, the down spreads evenly across the entire surface.

Easy attachment

A well-designed tensioner system allows for very easy adaptation to any hammock. The set includes two 1.25 m long elastic cords with fastening hooks. The tensioners with self-locking mechanism are a proven and reliable solution for placing the underquilt under the hammock. Even when you’re already inside the hammock, you can still easily adjust the level of insulation by loosening or tightening the expanders.
