General information

The Bushmen THERMO Tarp 4 x 4 m Olive Green bivouac tarp is the largest tarp in the THERMO tarp family. Like the smaller THERMO tarps, the THERMO TARP 4 x 4 is designed to last as long as possible. It’s made from 190T fabric with a rip-stop weave, which increases its tear resistance, and its most stressed areas are triple-stitched. The tarp has a total of 26 eyelets. 20 of them are found around the perimeter. The remaining 6 are on two reinforced strips on top of the tarp.

Thermal insulation

The tarp is lined on the underside with a thermal insulation layer that reflects heat and solar radiation. During cold nights, it retains body heat. In summer heat, you can use it with the silver side up. It will reflect sunlight, making it much cooler under the shelter than in an unprotected area. The thermal insulation layer also protects against UV radiation.

Simple packaging

The entire tarp can be placed in a transport bag with handles. When carefully folded, its transport dimensions are approximately 30 x 18 x 13 cm. It fits easily into a regular backpack.
