The SNEKA suspension system from outdoor specialists Lesovik is a new and improved system for hanging hammocks. At the heart of the system are Daisy chain straps that are gentle on tree bark and serve both for attaching to trees and adjusting the hanging length. The SNEKA system is exceptionally easy to understand and simple to use.

Daisy Chain with a Difference

“Daisy chain” straps are a solution borrowed from rock climbing, where similar loops with multiple eyes serve as safety or organizational elements. Classic “daisy chain” straps are made from multi-stitched fabric, making them heavy and bulky. SNEKA takes a different approach! The loops in SNEKA straps are created by weaving, not sewing, which means they are significantly smaller when packed and don’t contain seams that could get damaged.

Easy Length Adjustment

To adjust the hanging length, simply clip the carabiner at the end of the hammock into the selected “level” on the strap. It couldn’t be easier. Thanks to easy tree attachment and woven loops along the entire length of the strap, you can freely adjust the hammock’s sag even after it’s hung. Installing the SNEKA system on a new hammock takes no more than 3 minutes.

Tips for Properly Hanging a Hammock with the SNEKA System

The key to properly hanging a hammock is ensuring it hangs straight and is centered between trees

For straight hanging, simply place the SNEKA straps at the same height. If needed, the straps can be easily moved up or down the trunk without having to completely remove them.

To center the hammock, you need to attach the carabiners to the same “level” on both straps. Just count the “levels” from the tree. If we attach the carabiner to, for example, the sixth “level” on one side and the sixth “level” on the other side, this will mean a symmetrical hammock suspension. No more eyeballing it!”
