Description

General information

The Warbonnet Ridgerunner SL is a luxury bridge type hammock with integrated mosquito net, large side pockets and spreader bars to create a super flat sleeping area.
It is made of strong and breathable fabric with a load capacity of 90 kg and is a comfortable bed for people up to 198 cm tall.
Similar to the Blackbird XLC, it is available in a single (SL) or double layer(DL) version, which has a higher load capacity and allows the insertion of a mattress.

Durable construction

Dream-Tex synthetic fabric, developed specifically for hammocks, combines a traditional ripstop weave with a diamond grid.
This creates a fabric with an incredibly comfortable structure, similar to cotton and at the same time tear-resistant.
Add a fantastic balance of strength, light weight and flexibility and you have a hammock that will serve you for years to come.

Superior comfort

Sleeping in the supine position can be uncomfortable for some people and after a few hours they feel discomfort.
Most hammocks will therefore allow you to get into a diagonal position and achieve a more comfortable lying on your side.
However, this usually only works on one side.
If you want to roll over, you might wake up with your face pressed against the fabric, and you can usually only dream of sleeping on your stomach too.
But that’s not the case with the Ridgerunner!
In this hammock, you’re basically like a suspended bed and can sleep in any position.

You can sleep on your sides, back, or stomach and even rolling over while sleeping is no problem.

Easy assembly

Simply hang the hammock using the polyester straps.
Included in the package you will find a pair of solid polyester straps with single eyelets that are designed to be used with a pair of carabiners (carabiners not included).
Once the hammock is hanging, you need to insert the spreader bars into the grips at the ends.
The head bar is three pieces and the foot bar folds into two pieces.
Their segments are colour coded so you can’t get confused as to which belongs where.
Finally, you insert the rod tips into the eyelets on either side of the hammock and you’re ready to lie down.  

Practical little things

• Entry zipper – The zipper on both sides of the mosquito net allows you to unzip the hammock along its entire length.
  This solution allows the user to enter or exit on the side they prefer, or in a way that is safer relative to the surrounding terrain.
• Side “panniers” – The Ridgerunner offers plenty of room to store the things you want to keep within reach.
  There are spacious external pockets on the sides where you can store clothes and other essentials.
• Protection from insects – The hammock has a mosquito netting made of fine mesh that effectively protects you from insects.
  In two places, there are handles for release cords to ensure that you have enough space in front of your face.
  When not in use, the mosquito net can be unzipped at the head and sides and rolled up into a pocket at your feet.
• Whoopie Slings – Simple attachment system offers the possibility of hanging from trees or other anchor points.
  The hammock is supplied with a practical whoopie slings system.
  This thin rope with self-locking loops and hooks is lighter than a loom with carabiners.
