General information

The main feature of the DD Jungle SuperLight hammock is its modular design, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer an “all-in-one” solution. Both the mosquito net and the tarp are fully detachable. So if you’re traveling light, you can take just the hammock in your backpack, which weighs about half a kilogram. If you expect mosquitoes, you can add the mosquito net, and in case of rain, you can include the waterproof tarp.

Another important feature of the DD Jungle SuperLight hammock is its double-layer construction. This allows you to place a sleeping pad between the layers of the hammock, preventing it from moving unintentionally. It will stay in one place throughout the night and won’t shift underneath you.

The hammock can be set up as a tent. On wet ground, it’s necessary to use an additional waterproof groundsheet (not included in the package).

• Detachable rainproof top cover with self-supporting reinforced bars. Thanks to the tarp attachment, the inner space of the hammock is ventilated using the same principle as double-wall tents, which you’ll appreciate in both hot and cold weather. Moisture from breathing and other sources doesn’t condense inside the hammock.
• The detachable mosquito net suitable for tropical areas and effectively prevents even the smallest Scottish Midge flies from getting through.
• Extra quick and easy Whoopie Slings tie system. A pair of Tree Huggers straps to protect the trees and two climbing carabiners that prevent water from running down the suspension into the hammock during rain.

Combine the hammock with the DD Underblanket, and you can enjoy a comfortable sleep even in colder months or rainy areas. Hammock insulation – Underblanket – insulates the entire hammock shell, including the sides. The insulation is attached to the hammock from the outside, so body movement in the hammock doesn’t affect the position, placement, or shift of the insulation.
