General information

The DD Frontline Recycled from DD Hammocks is an outdoor hammock with a tightly woven mosquito net that can withstand even the smallest Scottish Midge flies, and a double bottom. Unlike the similar DD Travel/Bivi model, this hammock is not waterproof; instead, its layers are designed for improved breathability. The size of the hammock is 270 x 140 cm.

Two-layer construction

One of the main characteristics of the DD Frontline Olive Green hammock is its two-layer construction. It is possible to insert a car mattress between the hammock shells to fix it. It will then stay in one place all night and not shift under you. The dual-layer construction provides enhanced protection against stinging insects, offering an added layer of defense for a more secure outdoor experience.

Mosquito net

The mosquito net of the DD Frontline hammock can be closed on both longitudinal sides with a zipper with two sliders. It is very tightly woven and will protect you from even the smallest insects. In addition, it increases thermal comfort and provides partial protection against the sun.

Transform the Frontline hammock into a tent

The hammock is equipped with four eyelets around the perimeter, allowing you to attach it to the ground and set it up like a tent. Since the bottom layer is not waterproof, it’s advisable to place a tarp underneath to create a waterproof floor. The DD 3×3 m tarp is large enough to serve as both a floor and a shelter over the hammock.

Functional Accessories

Inside the hammock there are four handy Velcro pockets for safe storage of equipment including your phone or wallet. After removing the spreader bars, the hammock can be turned “upside down” and the view of the sky or treetops can be fully enjoyed.
